HALEYVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL IS A TITLE I SCHOOL-WIDE SCHOOL. This is an important designation as ALL of our federal money received may be used for every student in our building. It also gives "school-wide authority" to all stakeholders, including parents, as we make decisions for our students at HMS.
Do you shop at Target? If you have a Target RedCard you can sign up for the Take Charge of Education Program and Target will give 1% of all purchases back to the school of your choice. If you have a Target RedCard you may sign up on-line or in the store. Thanks for your support!!
The Haleyville Middle School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society recognizes some of our best students. Students are selected using a set criteria consisting of five pillars: scholarship, character, leadership, service, and leadership. We are currently meeting to determine those selected for membership for the 2010-11 year. Membership is only open to 7th and 8th graders, however, the previous year's grades and character are considered in determining eligibility. Therefore it is very important for all students, especially 6th graders, to be familiar with the requirements. For a complete list, please select link below.

We are proud to say that ALL teachers and paraprofessionals at HMS have attained Highly Qualified Status in accordance with federal law.
