The Haleyville Middle School Renaissance program recognizes students who do the "right" thing! Students are rewarded for good grades, behavior, and attendance. Each year, we work hard to develop a school culture where our students will want to come to school and our faculty/staff enjoy working. Without question, this excitement improves results. In addition, we choose a school theme each year that promotes and supports our over school mission. The theme for 2011-2012 is "Make It Matter"

Mr. Reggie Tolbert is our band director and he is doing an outstanding job! The interest for the middle school program continues to grow which can only add to the longstanding tradition of the Haleyville High School Marching Band!
The Haleyville Middle School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society was established in the Spring of 2010. The NJHS is based on character, scholarship, leadership, service, and citizenship. This organization consists of seventh and eighth graders. We are planning a fall induction for 2011 which will involve our new prospective members. We are extremely proud of these students as they are some of the best HMS has to offer!!
